This guy has some great information on all the best ways to furnish your kitchen including advice about finding and purchasing Antique Stoves. The cast I found after attending a party

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

Last week I got invited to Disneyland by my sister’s kids. My little nephew Tommy was going to have a birthday party there and he wanted me included. I wound up getting my nephew a small blue iPod. The nice thing about the party was my nephew had about 20 people that cared about him most right there. After the party was over I went down main street and did some shopping. At one store I found a very nice cast iron saucepan. This was the exact type of pan that I had been looking for to make a few things in my kitchen.

He Had to Lien the Job

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

My husband has always had really good luck working with different contractors. In fact, he has only had trouble collecting on one job. He was supposed to be working for a friend and helping him get his house built for a better price. It actually ended up that the friend’s boss was walking away with the equity and actually tried to sell the house. He finally had to take advantage of conveyancing laws in order to draw a lien on the home. Because it was up for sale, they quickly paid him and cleared the title, but I imagine they would have strung him out even longer if he hadn’t taken action.

On Twilight

Sunday, October 11th, 2009

Can cacophony be used to describe movies? I think it should be. At least when we’re talking about Twilight. As some of you will know, I have this thing about seeking out crappy movies and then watching them, and a frightening lot of them have been vampire movies. The two crowning examples here are, of course, Embrace of the Vampire and Dracula 3000. But Twilight. I will not say much about the things going on in that epitome of moving excrement, for it is done so better and more fun. I will point out a few things I happened to notice, but mostly I will talk about what watching it did to me (and let me tell you, it did some horrible things to me, things that would make Slaneesh giggle and clap his/her hands). But before all these, I gotta first come up of some Last Minute Gift Ideas for my wife since her birthday is coming up.

What Are Some Pre-Packaged Home Solar Panels Available?

Friday, October 9th, 2009

Let’s face it, this economy is rough and everyone is looking for a way to save money and make money at the same time. I’m one of those people because the rising cost of energy is just continuing to drain my paycheck. After a brief online search, I found out about some pre-packaged Home Solar Panels that just about knocked my socks off. It’s called a Grid Tie-In system and it’s designed to sell power back to the utility company. It’s tied directly into the utility power grid and any excess power generated by the solar panels is sent out into the grid for others to use. In return, I get a credit from the utility company. It’s a win/win!

Need Help Finding Home Remodeling Contractors

Friday, October 9th, 2009

Naturally, any time that you are getting work done to your house, especially when it is a big remodeling project and you’ve got one or more home remodeling contractors working on your house, you want to make sure that they are well spoken for in the construction and business community.  It is a sad day in these times when you just can’t take someones word, and that you’ve got to do your homework, but it is far better that you be safe and concerned about who is working in and on the place you live in, than to not be.

We Remolded our Entire House

Thursday, October 8th, 2009

We recently remodeled our entire house.  We gutted it out and left the structure in tact.  It was a long project, but it is finally almost complete.  The only thing we need to do is bring in an Interior Decorator in Maryland so that she can help us design all the rooms in our home.  Each room we want to be unique.  Or rather maybe each level can have it’s own theme.  There are 3 levels in our home, so I guess we can work with the gal in hopes we can have something that sets us apart from anyone else, so that when guests come into our home, they will just ooh and ahhh.
