Is a room full of mantel clocks a bad thing?
I was watching the original movie Back to the Future the other day and I remember a scene where Dr. Brown has a room full of clocks that all go off chiming at the same time. I was wondering if a room like this would make sense in a traditional household. I mean, people have rooms dedicated to one thing all the time. What about the traditional library? Nothing there but a bunch of books on shelves. A whole room for that. Why not a whole room for mantel clocks? I think that would be a great room to lounge in. I can just picture the amazing sounds you must hear when 40 clocks are chiming all at once, and even a few cuckoos flying out at you. That has got provoke some interesting feelings that I’d like to feel some time.
