Street impact in the new coats
OK I’m finally getting it! The “look” for this winter and the impact on the Winter 2009 New Coats. Here’s my summation – overall a military look and feel, belted, big cowl and roll collars. That’s it. Takes a bit of getting used to and more importantly a lot of scouring around the racks to find the designs that are truly a bit different and have that indefinable flair that sets them apart. I want to find a couple of smart choices for the city. After all, I’m there almost every day and have to look good on the street as well as in the conference room. Some of the so called “new” designs are not, so you have to be discerning – yes you’re right – so what’s new?
